The answer to this question is probably no, but for some they would most likely answer yes. Others would probably say, I am comfortable as I am, I am living a nice life, its full enough for me. Lets take a look at the three answers to the question.

Those who answer no would most likely look at their lives on the basis of better living conditions, like a better home, a better social life, like entertaining themselves all the time, and not caring about anything, having no worries, travelling the world, living life so fast that there is not enough time in the world to do all these things that they want to do. They see money as the solution to living life to the full. They would probably be right, but after achieving all this they will come to the conclusion that there is still something missing in their life, actually there is an emptiness about their life, they enjoy their lifestyle but there is a vacuum within it.

Those who answer yes may have a similar outlook they have all the best things that life offers them no financial problems, not a care in the world, life couldn't be better, they have achieved everything and yet when they stop and think about it there is still an emptiness there. Even though they have their lives secure as they think, is it really totally secure? Some people like this actually admit that there is an emptiness in their life.

Those who answer that they are comfortable with their life and content with life in general are basically just like those in the other two categories, they will embrace any and every situation, and put it down to the luck of life, or that’s the way life is in general. They will be pleased about their lifestyle and carry on life’s daily duties without a care in the world, they are content, and don't want their lifestyle changed they live in their little world and that’s their life, yet they too, feel that something is missing there is still an emptiness there in their world.

All these persons when everything is considered, are not living life to the full, no matter what they do to try to change it, there will always be an emptiness there, and that emptiness can only be filled if they have a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. You see a person can only have a full life through God, in his or her life. ["Jesus said, I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full"] [John 10:10] It means that without Christ we are not living the full life that Jesus offers. What is this life He offers, it is a spiritual life, that He is talking about. The life Jesus offers is eternal life, and we receive it now in this life, not in the next life. We are born into this life with our spirit dead, separated from God, only in Christ can it be made alive again, it is through our spirit that we communicate with God. ["God is Spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth"] [ John 4:24 ] Man was created in the image of God, and he has a spirit, an animal does not have a spirit. Only Men and Women can communicate with God, who consists of three persons, the Father, the Son (Jesus) and the Holy Spirit. God communicates with us through his word the Bible, it is through the Bible that Christ reveals himself to us. Only through a personal relationship with Christ can we live life to the full.

How do we have a relationship with Christ? By coming to Him and saying that you are a sinner, and realizing that you deserve to die for your sins, and cannot save yourself no matter what you do, by believing that Jesus Christ died for your sins personally on the cross, so you can be saved from the penalty of sin, which is eternal punishment, to make a decision to follow Christ, which is to turn from your sin, and live a new life with Jesus Christ, to receive Him into your life, to be born again (Spiritual). Again you cannot do this on your own merit, when you come to Christ like this, God will send his Spirit into your inner being to help and teach you how to live the new Christian life. There is nothing you can do to enter the kingdom of heaven, Jesus Christ had to come to earth to pay the penalty for you, that your sins deserve which is eternal death. He took your sin to the cross, by coming to Him, your sins are forgiving, and you are guaranteed a place in heaven. You will know and be assured that you are going to heaven, Jesus said it, and He is the truth. To know God you need to read His word the bible, God speaks to you through the bible.
