Does it really matter?

We all come across situations in our life that involves decisions in our way of living some very important ones, others not so important. We find that some of our decisions are vital others not so. For example like buying a home, you decide if the house is up to standard, and secure for yourself and your family, after all your considering living there for the future, so it does really matter after all doesn't it. Another example is getting married, you decide if the person you marry is the one you want to love and care for and live with for the rest of your life, your have decided to love that person, so it does really matter doesn't it. Other decisions are not so important so we dismiss them, the funny thing though is, we only look to this life. what about the next life, none of us really make a decision for that life. Does it really matter, of course it does, this life is only temporary, less than a hundred years, the next life is spent in eternity, we either go to heaven with God or to a place of suffering for eternity, as it is you decide now, where your going, have you decided? There is only one way to get to heaven, that's through Jesus Christ, you say but I know that, correct but do you know him personally, to know him personally means you have a personal relation with him, you have a relationship with your husband, wife, friends, parents and children, you communicate with them don't you, its the same with God, he communicates with you through his word the bible. Did you ever hear this saying from the bible. "Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father, but through me." Does it really matter, yes it does, its saying that the only way to God is through Jesus, not a guardian angel, not by doing good religious things, not by following such and such a saint, if it were then Jesus would not have to be crucified for you, he died to bring you to God not a saint, he wants you to follow him, for he alone is the only way to God, salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name given, unto men by which we may be saved, other than the name of Jesus What do we do then, we must realise that we are a sinner, and separated from God, and stand condemned, you say I haven't done anything bad, I'm a good person, good, but your born a sinner by nature, and that nature cannot enter Heaven, you need God's divine nature. How do I receive it, by realising you are a sinner, that you need to be saved, that you cannot save yourself, believe that God sent his Son, Jesus to die for you, to save you personally, to be crucified for your sins, and was raised from the dead, so you can have a right standing before God, you say I know that, the next step is to be willing to turn from your sin, and receive Jesus into your life, ask him in, you can say Lord Jesus I admit that I am a sinner, I want to turn from my sin, I believe that you died on the cross for my sins, I ask you into my life, help me to start a new life with you. Read the bible let God speak to you, talk to God as you would a friend, that's prayer, which is communicating with God. Have you decided? Its a vital decision and secures your life totally to enter heaven Faith in Christ alone is the only real decision you need to make, it really matters.

God bless you.

        Yours in Christ
